‘Music Bank‘ is back with another fun and exciting show that was chock-full of amazing performances!
Besides the usual stages on tonight’s show, G.NA and Suki made their comebacks this week while STELLAR, BB.Boys, and Sweet Revenge began their respective debut promotions.
Super Junior faced off against T-ara for this week’s K-Chart, but in the end, it was the former who clinched their K-Chart triple crown win. The boys were not present to receive their trophy as they were preparing for their stage for the opening ceremony of the 13th World Championships in Athletics in Daegu later tonight. Congratulations to Super Junior nevertheless!

Incheon Korean Music Wave festival Performances from 2011
On August 13th, many of Korea’s top idol groups and singers gathered together to perform for the “2011 Incheon Korean Wave” festival, held at the Incheon Munhak Olympic Stadium. The night was full of brilliant performances from the likes of Super Junior, SNSD, 2PM, 2NE1, B2ST, KARA, SHINee, 2AM, f(x), miss A, T-ara, MBLAQ, F.T. Island, 4minute, SECRET, SISTAR, INFINITE, TEEN TOP, and ZE:A.
Hosting the show for the third year in a row were SNSD’s Tiffany and Yuri, as well as MBC announcer Oh Sang Jin. Together, the three MCs and the festival’s performers hoped to show off the beauties of Incheon, especially to international tourists and raise the level of interest in the K-Pop wave.
