Stars leave for Music Bank’s ‘K-POP FESTIVAL in TOKYO’

Earlier, we reported that KBS’s Music Bank would be heading over to Tokyo, Japan for a concert and some of its performing stars started leaving via Gimpo Airport on the afternoon of July 12th.
“MUSIC BANK” will take place on July 13th, tomorrow at the Tokyo Dome and has been renamed as “K-POP FESTIVAL – MUSIC BANK in TOKYO – ”. 15 Korean groups and artists will perform including TVXQ, KARA, SNSD, 2PM, B2ST, 4minute, U-KISS, IU, Baek Ji Young, SECRET, Rainbow, INFINITE, Park Hyun Bin, RaNia and X-5.

f(x) amuses fans with a funny photo

On July 11th, Krystal uploaded a photo on her me2day with the caption, “Who is who?“.
In the green toned photo, the f(x) members are seen looking bizarre in plastic raincoats, covering their faces, and only exposing their eyes, nose, and mouth areas. Despite the members’ strange appearance, they still posed with their ‘V’ signs and cute expressions which caused even more amusement.
Netizens commented, “I’m scared!“, “You guys look like researchers who work at the nuclear laboratory” and “Even like this you guys are cute“.

miss A receives a ’stellar’ gift from fans

“Twinkle, twinkle miss A star, how I wonder what you are~“.
The ladies of miss A received an extraordinary gift from their fans in the form of a global star registry certificate. For the group’s 1 year anniversary present, fans decided to name a star after miss A.

A representative of miss A responded, “The members were so touched by such clever 1 year anniversary present. They will repay the fans with a song that twinkles brightly like their star in the sky“.
miss A is making their comeback this month with their album, “Class A“. Their title song, “Good Bye Baby“, is receiving a high amount of anticipation thanks to its dramatic MV teasers.

miss A drops MV teaser for “Good Bye Baby”, starring Fei

With only a few days left to go until miss A drops their comeback mini-album, “A Class“, the girls boosted the hype by releasing another MV teaser for “Good Bye Baby“!
Earlier, member Min returned with a cut-scene that involved a powerful slap to a man’s face.
This time, it’s Fei’s turn to wow fans. To match the dramatic feel of their new song, Fei is seen walking in a downpour of rain. Although the rain and bare shoulders make her look vulnerable, Fei is anything but as she assertively looks into the camera. The flashes of red also cloak the overall clip with an element of sexy confidence. Check out the video below!

SHINee trio + f(x) perform “Hello” on Inkigayo

‘Inkigayo’ has prepared another special stage involving SHINee and f(x) this week!

After a slew of special stages over the past two weeks, Inkigayo has arranged for another one, this time with SHINee’s Key, Minho and Taemin who was joined by the f(x) members for a performance of SHINee’s “Hello” to mark Pyeonchang being the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

2PM wins Inkigayo Mutizen again + other performances

SBS’s Inkigayo is back once again, and this week’s show was full of amazing and fun performances from the top participating K-pop artists!
With Pyeongchang getting named as the host city for the 2018 Winter Olympics earlier in the week, the episode was full of references to that announcement as a mark of celebration.
The ‘Take 7‘ nominees for this week’s show were 2PM (“Hands Up“), 2NE1 (“I Am The Best“), SECRET (“Starlight Moonlight“), f(x) (“Hot Summer“), Rainbow (“Sweet Dream“), 8eight (“Close That Lip“), and T-ara (“Roly-Poly“). All of them were present to perform their hits.
